As a parent, I've seen a remarkable transformation in my daughter's confidence since joining GLSOE. She's more self-assured in social situations and has developed poise that extends beyond table manners. The warm, supportive environment makes learning fun!

I thank Adrianne and Great Lakes School of Etiquette for facilitating our Residency Interviews & Preparedness Dinner. Because of Adrianne, our fourth year medical students are well prepared and confident as they seek to secure their next medical milestone...becoming doctors.

My son was initially reluctant to attend etiquette classes, but after just one session with GLSOE, he was excited to go back! The sessions make learning manners engaging and relevant for today's youth. It's been worth every penny.

About the founder

Etiquette shouldn't feel intimidating — it should feel liberating

At Great Lakes School of Etiquette, we believe that strong social skills are the foundation for success in school, relationships, and careers.

We're not just teaching manners — we're equipping people with the social confidence they'll carry throughout life.

My approach is warm, practical, and designed to meet each student exactly where they are. I've worked with students from ages 4 to 74, in schools, corporations, and living rooms across Dallas–Fort Worth.

Common questions

Everything you're wondering about

Choosing the right program can feel like a big decision. Here are the questions we hear most — answered plainly.

Still unsure? Book a consultationand we’ll find the right fit together.
Children as young as 4 or 5 can join our youngest classes. Our Children's Etiquette program is divided by age group so that every lesson is developmentally appropriate and genuinely fun. We've had wonderful experiences with children who are naturally shy — the small group setting makes it easy for them to open up at their own pace.
Single lessons give information; our programs build habits. We use repetition, role-play, and real-world practice across multiple sessions so that proper manners become second nature rather than a checklist students have to remember under pressure. Most families see a noticeable difference after the very first class.
Yes — private sessions are available for individuals, parent-child pairs, and families. They're completely tailored to your goals, whether that's preparing for a specific event, building general confidence, or working through particular social situations. Sessions can be held in-studio, virtually, or in your home. Contact us to discuss what would work best.
Classes are small (usually 6–10 students), interactive, and genuinely enjoyable. We cover a skill — say, how to introduce yourself to an adult — and then practice it in a low-pressure group setting. For dining classes, students sit at properly set tables and practice everything from napkin placement to how to signal a server. There's warmth and laughter in every session.
For most of our children's and adult group programs, yes — each session is designed to stand on its own while also building toward broader skills. Teen programs run as 4-week series, so we recommend starting at session one. If you're unsure, reach out and we'll find the right entry point for your situation.
Absolutely. We regularly deliver professional etiquette training for corporate teams, onboarding cohorts, and leadership groups. Programs are customized to your industry and goals and can be delivered at your location, at our studio, or in a restaurant setting. Reach out for a custom quote.
Group classes are held at our studio at The Shops at Willow Bend in Plano, and some programs take place in restaurants for the most realistic dining experience possible. Private sessions are available in-studio, at your home, or virtually — wherever is most comfortable for you.
